Old, original and complete pair of antique bookends featuring an Asian man eating with chopsticks.  This set was made by the J.B. Hirsch Company of New York.  Circa 1930.  This wonderful set has an Asian man in a cap standing holding a bowl in one hand and a pair of chopsticks in the other.  The man is in the blue color that is a known JB Hirsch tone.  The hands and face are painted ivory.  The man is made of a gray metal.  The base is portorro marble.  Each bookend stands 8 3/8" tall, 3 3/4" wide, 3 3/4" deep and weighs 2 lbs. 9 oz.  They are in very good original condition with the chopsticks intact.
