Rare original set of antique cast iron bookends featuring a Native American Indian pottery maker.  This set was made by Littlestown Hardware and Foundry, Littlestown, PA.  Circa 1925.  The Indian Potter is sitting with his legs tucked under while he paints finishing touches on a large pot he is holding, there is a smaller pot already painted on the ground in front of him. This set is made of cast iron with a brass plating.  The plating is in exceptional condition with the appearance of being solid brass.  There is a natural verdigris patina on both bookends.

Each bookend stands 4 1/2" tall, 4" long, 2 1/2" wide and weighs 3 lbs. (6 lbs. for the pair).  They are made of cast iron with a brass plating, the paint detailing on the pottery is red and black.  This set is in original very good condition. A beautiful set.
